After breakfast, drive from Addis Ababa to Arba Minch, one of the main cities in South Ethiopia. On theway, visit the Dorze people at their own village who are known for their beehive shaped houses.Overnight stay in a hotel.

 

Sep 22, 2023: ARBA MINCH – JINKA

In the morning, take boat on Lake Chamo to see hippopotamus and large crocodiles. And after that,drive to Jinka. In this journey, you will visit some tribes located between Arba Minch and Jinka. Overnight stay in a hotel.

 

Sep 23, 2023: JINKA – TURMI 

In the morning you will drive some 30 km to the village of the Mursi people to see Mursi women whoare known for their lip plates. After lunch, drive from Jinka to Turmi. Overnight stay in a lodge.

 

Sep 24, 2023: TURMI – OMORATE – TURMI

After breakfast, drive to Omorate which is home of Dassanech people who are pastoralists, fishermenand whose women have elaborate beads on their bodies. In the afternoon, visit the Hamer people nearTurmi. The Hamer people are well known for their hair styles and bull jumping. Overnight stay in a lodge.

 

Sep 25, 2023: TURMI – ARBA MINCH

Drive back to Arba Minch. On the way, you will visit the Konso people famous for terrace farming. Overnight stay in a lodge.

 

Sep 26, 2023: ARBA MINCH – ADDIS ABABA

Retrace to Addis Ababa. You will have a chance to see some rift valley lakes in this journey. Overnightstay in a hotel.

 

Sep 27, 2023: ADDIS ABABA – DEPARTURE

In the morning, do a half day Addis Ababa city tour which includes the National Museum and theEthnological Museum. After lunch attend the eve of Meskel Festival which commemorates the finding ofthe True Cross. Finally, in the early hours of the evening be transferred to the airport for your flight backto home.
