After breakfast, be transferred to the airport and fly to Lalibela. Full day you will visit the 11 rock-hewn churches of Lalibela. Overnight stay in a hotel.

 

Sep 16, 2023: LALIBELA – GONDAR

After breakfast, drive from Lalibela to Gondar. In this journey you will admire beautiful landscape and also visit the Awramba community, a unique community which has its own rules and regulations. Overnight stay in a hotel.

 

Sep 17, 2023: GONDAR

Full day visit the most important attractions of Gondar which includes the 17 th century castles of King Fassiladas, Debre Birhan Selassie Church and Falasha Village, once home to Ethiopian Jews known for their craftsmanship. Overnight stay in a hotel.

 

Sep 18, 2023: GONDAR – BAHIR DAR

After breakfast, drive from Gondar to Bahir Dar through several chains of mountains. After arrival, drive some 30 km to see the Blue Nile Falls. Overnight stay in a hotel.

 

Sep 19, 2023: BAHIR DAR

In the morning, visit the nearest monasteries on Lake Tana. And spend the afternoon at the beach.
IMPORTANT: Some monasteries on this same lake are not allowed for women to visit. Overnight stay in a hotel.

 

Sep 20, 2023: BAHIR DAR – ADDIS ABABA

Fly back to Addis Ababa and after lunch visit the National Museum and Ethnographic Museum.

Sep 21, 2023: ADDIS ABABA – ARBA MINCH

After breakfast, drive from Addis Ababa to Arba Minch, one of the main cities in South Ethiopia. On theway, visit the Dorze people at their own village who are known for their beehive shaped houses.Overnight stay in a hotel.

 

Sep 22, 2023: ARBA MINCH – JINKA

In the morning, take boat on Lake Chamo to see hippopotamus and large crocodiles. And after that,drive to Jinka. In this journey, you will visit some tribes located between Arba Minch and Jinka. Overnight stay in a hotel.

 

Sep 23, 2023: JINKA – TURMI 

In the morning you will drive some 30 km to the village of the Mursi people to see Mursi women whoare known for their lip plates. After lunch, drive from Jinka to Turmi. Overnight stay in a lodge.

 

Sep 24, 2023: TURMI – OMORATE – TURMI

After breakfast, drive to Omorate which is home of Dassanech people who are pastoralists, fishermenand whose women have elaborate beads on their bodies. In the afternoon, visit the Hamer people nearTurmi. The Hamer people are well known for their hair styles and bull jumping. Overnight stay in a lodge.

 

Sep 25, 2023: TURMI – ARBA MINCH

Drive back to Arba Minch. On the way, you will visit the Konso people famous for terrace farming. Overnight stay in a lodge.

 

Sep 26, 2023: ARBA MINCH – ADDIS ABABA

Retrace to Addis Ababa. You will have a chance to see some rift valley lakes in this journey. Overnightstay in a hotel.

 

Sep 27, 2023: ADDIS ABABA – DEPARTURE

In the morning, do a half day Addis Ababa city tour which includes the National Museum and theEthnological Museum. After lunch attend the eve of Meskel Festival which commemorates the finding ofthe True Cross. Finally, in the early hours of the evening be transferred to the airport for your flight backto home.
