Day 01: AARRIVAL IN ADDIS ABABA
Upon arriving in Addis Ababa, you will be transferred to your hotel accompanied by a representative from His-Cul Ethiopia Tours. After early breakfast the same day morning, be transferred to the airport and fly to Arba Minch. Upon arrival, we will check into our hotel and then drive to the Chencha Village to see the Dorze people. We will stay overnight in a hotel.
Day 02: ARBA MINCH – JINKA
In the morning, take boat on Lake Chamo to explore hippos and giant crocs, parts of Nechsar NationalPark and the lake’s shores, and then drive further south to the town of Jinka. On your way to Jinka, visitthe Ari, Banna and Tsemay peoples in their respective locations. Overnight stay in a hotel
Day 03: JINKA – TURMI
In the morning, you will have excursion to Mago National Parks to visit the Mursi people who are bestknown for the “lip plate” worn by the women and, after lunch, drive to Turmi, the village of Hammerpeople. Overnight stay in a lodge
Day 04: FULL DAY AROUND TURMI
In the morning, you will have excursion to Omorate to see the Dassanach people (fishermen and hippoand crocodile hunters) and their traditional village. In the afternoon, visit the Turmi traditional market iftoday is Monday. Overnight stay in a lodge.
Day 05: TURMI – ARBAMINCH
Drive back to Arba Minch en-route visiting the villages of the Konso people. O/N in hotel
Day 06: ARBA MINCH – ADDIS ABABA
Drive back to Addis Ababa. En-route, visit the Rock-Hewn Churches of Adadi Mariam which is far closer in style to its counterparts at Lalibela than to any rock-hewn church in Tigray, the Stone-Age
archeological site of Melka Kunture, and finally the Tiya Stele Field—a belt of secret-full carved steles and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 07: CITY TOUR OF ADDIS ABABA + INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT – ARBAMINCH
Full day visit Addis Ababa which includes the Ethnological Museum of Addis Ababa, the National
Museum and Addis Park. In the early hours of the evening, be transferred to the airport for your evening return flight to home.
